ProCare Therapy has an opening for a full time special education paraprofessional to work with a school district in Newport, New Hampshire the current 23-24 school year. The position will consist of assisting the special education teacher with tasks and student needs, working hands on and generally caring for student's needs in the classroom. An associates degree will be required to be considered for this position. Special education experience is preferred. This position will be contracted through ProCare Therapy and will offer a pay rate of $20/hour. For more information about this position or to be considered for an interview, please apply.

  • Candidate must be prepared to work with various special education behaviors, including but not limited to; aggression, biting, eloping, redirection, toileting, diapering, lifting, various medical need, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher required
  • Experience with special education or working as a paraprofessional
  • Background check, drug screen & fingerprinting will be required of all candidates
  • In schools experience preferred
  • Special education experience required
  • Interest in schools and education preferred
